Capital Music — Live Musicians for Washington, DC, Maryland & Virginia Events

Capital Music is your source for live soloists, duos, trios and combos throughout Washington, DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia and the greater DMV.

Many of our musicians are featured players in the DMV’s top bands. When your event calls for something more intimate, they perform on their own or in small groups we call Capital Combos. You get the same skill and polish as a full band, sized for your space and your moment.

Our roster covers a wide range of styles:

• Acoustic and jazz guitar: relaxed instrumental sets for ceremonies, cocktail hours and dinner
• Singer-guitarists: acoustic pop, rock, folk and singer-songwriter favorites your guests will know
• Piano and vocals: classic standards, Broadway, Motown and today’s hits
• Jazz vocalists: Great American Songbook elegance for galas, receptions and lounges
• Saxophone and flute: smooth jazz, soul and a touch of sophistication
• Country: a laid-back acoustic sound, perfect for winery and barn weddings
• Jazz trios and combos: piano, guitar, sax, bass and drums, plus vocals when you want them

Our musicians play weddings, corporate receptions, galas, mitzvahs, private parties and small gatherings. They bring passion, precision and personality to every song. Many can change the lineup through the evening, too: a solo guitarist for the ceremony, a duo for cocktails, then a full combo for dinner and dancing.
